At various points in the game, Shinji will also be asked to make dialogue choices which can influence events and conversations that follow. Battle controls are menu-driven and the outcome is determined by a combination of different parameters. On these Sundays, Shinji and Misato can also take part in extra activities, such as shopping for items which have various effects on Shinji's parameters, or going to work at NERV, which unlocks new Eva equipment.
